CALGARY, AB: The Canadian Blockchain Consortium (Consortium) announces the creation of the Consortium Mining Forum.
Canada is one of the up-and-coming bitcoin mining destinations in the world due to its abundance of renewable and clean energy resources. The Consortium believes that a forum to share best practices and provide education is integral to the crypto mining industry’s success in Canada.
The Consortium Mining Forum was officially launched at Mining Disrupt Expo, the largest crypto mining expo in the world, which was held on July 25-26, 2022.
Following the launch and in order to maintain strong mining practices, the forum will meet monthly and invite all mining companies and their partners to participate.
The mining forum was conceived by Emma Todd, Managing Director of MMH Data Systems and Chair of the Consortium Mining Forum Committee – and she stated: “The Canadian mining ecosystem needed a forum where everyone in the mining community could talk to each other and also provide education specific to the Canadian Crypto Mining industry.”
“The Mining Forum will help lead the development of a national economic recovery whitepaper while also creating a hub for our mining partners.“ said Ben Gagnon, Chief Mining Officer of Bitfarms and co-chair of the Mining Forum Committee.

The CBC Mining Forum will be run by the CBC Mining Forum Committee which will comprise of;
