( ONLINE) AthenaDAO’s Reproductive Health Report Seminar – From Research to Action
Did you know that by the time you are 40, your ovaries are twice as old?
Or that even though IVF is 44 years old its efficacy remains dramatically low?
Do you feel alone on your journey to managing PCOS? Or Endometriosis?
It all comes down to the fact that when it comes to women’s health there has been a lack of:
Scientific ResearchDataFunding
The inaugural AthenaDAO’s Reproductive Health Report featured the top researchers of the field to establish where reproductive biology is today, and introduce our mandate to support a future in women’s health with more research funding and education.
In this seminar we want to go more in-depth with a live audience and the researchers in attendance.
Join us on Thursday, March 9th, 2023 at 8 am PST / 11 am EST / 5 pm CET to find out what the future of women’s health entails.
About the speakers
Our speakers were featured or wrote for our first Reproductive Health Report. They include recognized experts in their field like Dr. Zhongwei Huang, who leads The Bia-Echo Asia Centre for Reproductive Longevity and Equality. Dr. Lizellen La Follette, an OB-GYN who is on the Board of Trustees at the Buck Institute of Aging; and Dr. Miguel Brieno-Enriquez, Assistant Professor at Magee- Women’s Research Institute. As well as, up-and-coming researchers like Ph.D. candidate Lu Dong, who is currently at the National University of Singapore, and Dr. Maria Marinova is a Venture Creation Analyst for Apollo Health Ventures, as well as one of the science leads at AthenaDAO.
What will be covered:

Who should attend:
Individuals and organizations with an interest in women’s health. Healthcare professionals, researchers, advocates, investors, policymakers, and anyone curious about the latest research and developments in the field of women’s reproductive biology.
